Snow dyed one yard broadcloth

Snow dyed one yard broadcloth

The softly mottled pattern on this one-yard piece is typical of the snow-dyeing process. Snow is packed onto the prepared fabric and dyes are poured over the top. As the snow melts, the colors merge and blend into this gorgeous pastel fabric. The fabric is a cotton broadcloth, densely woven.

It would be beautiful in any patchwork, applique or other fiber project!!

The fabric was washed before and after dyeing, so it is preshrunk. Always prewash hand dyed to test for excess dye.

Made in a smoke-free, pet-free home.
