Snow-dyed quilter’s fabric
Buckets of snow were hauled into my garage and piled on top of this 1 yard piece of cotton muslin. Dyes were poured over and the snow melted the color into the fabric. It created a watery rose with a little orange patterning that is unique to this technique. This is one of my favorite fabrics and I have had it in my stash for the past year. But since I haven’t yet used it, I thought I would offer it here for someone else to enjoy! It would be beautiful in any patchwork, applique or other fiber project!!
The fabric was washed before and after dyeing, so it is preshrunk. Always prewash hand dyed to test for excess dye.
Made in a smoke-free, pet-friendly home.
