Hand dyed quilter’s fabric

This fabric was created using a technique known as snow dyeing. Treated fabric is packed with snow and the dyes pour over the top. It looks very much like a snow cone! As the snow melts, it disburses the dye in the watery pattern you see here.

This piece would make a gorgeous addition to your next quilt or fiber art project.

The fabric was washed twice during the dye process, so it is preshrunk. Hand dyes should be washed again to test for colorfastness. Made in a smoke-free, pet-friendly home.
