New Designs in Airbrushed Fabrics

Today was a glorious day! The sun was shining, it was 70 degrees and the wind was calm – mostly. It was the perfect day to airbrush new fabrics. I wanted to make a few more of the scrunch and plaids, but I also wanted to try something new.

I have a palm leaf from my daughter Michelle’s yard in Phoenix and some cedar twigs from my own yard. Spraying fabric paint over these resulted in some beautiful designs.

I am thrilled with how these turned out. So, I went on to create a leafy background and then stencil petroglyphs over it. The stencils are courtesy of Alison Schwabe, a long-time friend.

I think the results were worth all the effort. These fabrics are now available for sale on this site.
